A Sunday Brunch In Oakland

In San Francisco every opportunity to get dressed & go out for brunch is an instant: Yes!

On this day, I linked with my favorite Taurus friend, Dae and we headed out to Oakland pride for a little partying and some brunch for a friends birthday! The inspiration behind the look was super simple. I chose blue & white because I wanted a look at gave off boat vibes (even though the only boat we were driving that day was a Yacht of Tequila. I know what you’re thinking and yes - I made it up.

The sun was shining so I knew I wanted to wear shorts and a short sleeve collared shirt. I paired American Apparel Blue Chambray shorts (which were $30 at the time of purchase back in 2014), a simple White Polo, and one of my favorite pairs of AirMax sneakers. An easy recipe for a breezy day out. Here was the outcome of snapping a few photos on top of my roof!
